Peugeot Invest and Hayfin acquire stakes in Novétude Group

Charterhouse Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on mid-market European companies in the services and healthcare sectors, has announced that Peugeot Invest and Hayfin Capital have acquired minority stakes in Novétude Group, a new healthcare education platform in Europe. Charterhouse will maintain a majority stake in this venture.

Novétude Group will be centered around Novétude Santé, which Charterhouse has owned since 2020. Under Charterhouse's guidance, Novétude Santé has expanded its offerings, creating a diverse range of educational programs tailored to the healthcare sector, including osteopathy, physiotherapy, sports, and paramedical fields.

Sami Rifai, CEO of Novétude Group, expressed the ambition to establish Europe’s leading platform for higher education in healthcare. He emphasized the increasing demand for quality healthcare education, driven by a growing number of students in health and welfare studies and an ageing population in Europe.

The new platform is poised to capitalize on favorable industry trends, including a rising enrollment of students in private healthcare education and the urgent need for more healthcare professionals. Pierre de Sarrau, a partner at Charterhouse, highlighted their experience with Novétude Santé and their expertise in enhancing healthcare companies, positioning them well to support the growth of Novétude Group.
