Nottingham managed IT and cyber security services firm acquires Irish business

Nottingham-based IT and cybersecurity firm Littlefish has acquired Storm Technology, an Irish Microsoft business applications consultancy. This acquisition, supported by Bowmark Capital's significant investment in 2022 and previous backers LDC, aims to accelerate Littlefish's growth.

The deal will enable Littlefish to expand its portfolio with enhanced enterprise applications and a comprehensive Microsoft M365/D365 proposition. It also opens new opportunities in the UK and Irish markets, addressing the increasing demand for business-focused Microsoft solutions and expanding Littlefish's customer base in Ireland.

Steve Robinson, CEO of Littlefish, highlighted the company's evolution from a startup to a leading IT outsourcer. He emphasized that the acquisition will enhance their Microsoft business solution capabilities and welcomed Storm Technology's team, led by CEO Karl Flannery, to collaborate and innovate together.

Karl Flannery expressed excitement about joining forces with Littlefish, noting that the partnership supports their growth ambitions and commitment to delivering maximum client impact. He emphasized the importance of maintaining their values of customer experience and operational excellence.

The acquisition was advised by EY’s Dublin-based corporate advisory team and a combined UK & Irish legal team from Browne Jacobson.
